Jurnal Bahasa is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal that is indexed in DOAJ, MyJurnal and MyCite and published biannually (June and December) by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Malaysia. The journal was first published in March 2001.

The articles included in Jurnal Bahasa focus on the latest linguistic studies by academics from within and outside the country, especially on the Malay language and its cognates. This journal publishes quality articles or scholarly writings with authoritative references. It also offers translations of titles, abstracts, and keywords in English for every article published.
