The Journal of English Language Pedagogy and Practice (Journal of Applied Linguistics) is a biannual, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Islamic Azad University, Tabriz Branch. Each issue features 12 research articles, which are first made available online on the journal’s website before the print edition is released.

The journal promotes rigorous, research-driven approaches to addressing language-related issues across the diverse fields of applied linguistics. Submissions are accepted in English and are evaluated by three expert reviewers from the applied linguistics community. The editorial team adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines, although the journal is not a formal member of COPE.
