  1. Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) - The directory is open to all publishers who publish academic, peer reviewed books in Open Access and should contain as many books as possible, provided that these publications are in Open Access and meet academic standards.
  2. Open Access (OAPEN) - The OAPEN Library contains freely accessible academic books, mainly in the area of humanities and social sciences. OAPEN works with publishers to build a quality controlled collection of open access books, and provides services for publishers, libraries and research funders in the areas of deposit, quality assurance, dissemination, and digital preservation.
  3. Springer Open Books - The growing demand for open access publishing across all disciplines has led Springer to expand our open access program to fully open access books. This platform offer authors in a wide range of areas within science, technology and medicine (STM) and within humanities and social sciences the option to publish open access books.
  4. Project Gutenberg -It offers over 57,000 free eBooks. Choose among free epub books, free kindle books, download them or read them online. You will find the world's great literature here, with focus on older works for which copyright has expired. Thousands of volunteers digitized and diligently proofread the eBooks, for enjoyment and education.
  5. Free Kitab - A central repository for good Islamic e-books and downloads, all based in the tradition of the Quran and Sunnah

WikiBooks - It is a Wikimedia project for collaboratively writing open-content textbooks that anyone, including you, can edit right now by clicking on the edit link that appears near the top of each Wikibooks page. Wikibooks has two sub-projects; Wikijunior which is aimed at children and the Cookbook which is our collection of recipes and culinary topics. Contributors maintain the property rights to their contributions, while the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License and the GNU Free Documentation License makes sure that the submitted version and its derivative works will always remain freely distributable and reproducible.

  2. HathiTrust’s Digital Library - It is a partnership of major research institutions and libraries working to ensure that the cultural record is preserved and accessible long into the future. The mission of HathiTrust is to contribute to research, scholarship, and the common good by collaboratively collecting, organizing, preserving, communicating, and sharing the record of human knowledge.
  3. NARCIS - It is the main national portal for those looking for information about researchers and their work. Besides researchers, NARCIS is also used by students, journalists and people working in educational and government institutions as well as the business sector. NARCIS provides access to scientific information, including (open access) publications from the repositories of all the Dutch universities, KNAW, NWO and a number of research institutes, datasets from some data archives as well as descriptions of research projects, researchers and research institutes.
  4. OpenAIRE - It has access to 22,546,903 publications and 820,749 datasets from 11,614 data sources. These involve 2,544,269 projects and 60,285 organizations from EU.
  5. PubMed Central® (PMC) - It is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM).
  6. RePub - Provides access to the academic output of the Erasmus University Rotterdam's institutional repository and makes it available to everyone, free of charge, now and in the future.
  7. EconPapers - It use the RePEc bibliographic and author data, providing access to the largest collection of online Economics working papers and journal articles. The majority of the full text files are freely available, but some (typically journal articles) require that you or your organization subscribe to the service providing the full text file. RePEc is a distributed data set residing in over 1100 archives operated by research organizations, academic departments and publishers. EconPapers would not be possible without the effort of the maintainers of these archives.
  8. SSRN - It is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of research and is composed of a number of specialized research networks.
UUM eJournals
  1. International Journal of Banking and Finance - is a blind peer reviewed journal published internationally with two issues annually and printed in Malaysia by the UUM Press, Universiti Utara Malaysia, which also provides the hard copy print services and distribution of the issues to the subscribers. Since its inception, the editorial team has worked independently to ensure that the selection of papers follow a rigorous process of initial editorial review followed by the blind peer review process.
  2. International Journal of Management Studies - It is a refereed multidisciplinary journal published by Universiti Utara Malaysia in June and December.

  6. UM Students' Repository - It provides an online archive for the written work of University of Malaya students such as academic exercises, dissertations and theses.

  2. BENTHAM Open - It publishes a number of peer-reviewed, open access journals. These free-to-view online journals cover all major disciplines of science, medicine, technology and social sciences. BENTHAM Open provides researchers a platform to rapidly publish their research in a good-quality peer-reviewed journal. All peer-reviewed accepted submissions meeting high research and ethical standards are published with free access to all.
  3. DASH - It enlarges the audience and impact of your work. Authors who deposit in DASH have access to on-demand metrics and receive monthly reports about their readership. Deposited works receive persistent URLs, are comprehensively indexed by search engines, including Google and Google Scholar, reach academic and non-academic readers who may not have access to the original publications, and are preserved by the Harvard Library.
