What Are They and Why?
To ensure security and smooth transaction in delivering services, the Library provide certain pages as private to its member only. Therefore a login tool is needed to grant the members to an advanced services or facilities privileges. As some of the services such as databases subscription are limited to UUM patrons only, a login or sign on of authentication is crucial and required.
Do not share, lose or expose your login details as it might be used by unauthorized individual and your account will be freeze if detected. Please ensure your profile especially communication channels are up to date such as email and phone number.
Library Account is a platform for all library members to manage their circulation activities such as borrowing and returning library materials, updating their profiles, making a reservation, checking their fines etc.
To login into your Library Account > Fill in your Login ID which is your First Name as Username & Staff/Student ID Number as password. If you forget your ID, please approach One Stop Center or Tel : 6049283628 for queries.

Library eResources or Electronic Resources is a platform which covers most of the online collection especially subscribe databases in diversity of subjects taught in the university. It provides a wide range of electronic resources including ebooks, newspapers, journals, databases, full-text journal articles, indexes, reports, proceedings, case file, research paper, theses and dissertation, etc. Until now it has approximately about 1,272,089 Electronic Books, 67,710 Electronic Journals and 23 subscribe Databases.
It can be access only by UUM patrons with a combination of Username and Password. However, due to copyright/licensing restrictions, not all databases are available from home.

In order to compile and manage all academic publications, the UUM Repository was created which covers most of the faculty members, staffs and some of post graduate students journal articles, conference papers, research reports, book chapters and newspaper articles. The full text items are downloadable (with permissions from authors) and served as a primary reference on academic publications by UUM patrons. As a faculty member, you can upload your academic publications into the system by login into the system (need an account) or delegate the process to our staff at eLibrary Division.
- To obtain an account, please contact Mrs Ku Safina Ku Ismail at o49283660 or Mrs Norazmilah Yaakub at 049283662 or request through online for that purpose. A Repository account will be created under your profile and you can deposit the publication metadata yourself. see Request Repository Account
- Delegate the process to our staff at eLibrary Division by mentioning your inquiries through online form. Your publications metadata will be deposit on your behalf from time to time based on your request or informed by Research and Corporate Communication Division which handles the monitoring of all UUM publication documents. see Request of Deposit for Repository Items
It is a growing collection of post graduates theses produced by UUM researchers. The collection comprises titles digitized from print holdings and items first submitted electronically from 1986 in various subject taught in the university. The content is freely available for personal research or study, educational, or not-for-profit purposes to read via the system. Each items can be access in .pdf full text through a password that can be obtain from the eResources website.
For printed collection, you can obtain the material from the Special Collection at Level 3 (Floor 3), New Library building.
