Journal of Event, Tourism and Hospitality Studies

Journal of Event, Tourism and Hospitality Studies (JETH) is a newly established and refereed academic journal published in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, annually (July) by UUM Press and managed by the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management (STHEM), Universiti Utara Malaysia. JETH invites prospective authors to submit original and unpublished work in areas that include but not limited to: event planning and coordination; event impacts; Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions (MICE); sporting events; special events; destination marketing; community-based tourism, human resource, food studies, hospitality management and information technology.

Financially supported and published under the auspices of the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management (STHEM), Universiti Utara Malaysia, JETH does not charge any article processing fees. JETH is publication fully funded by Universiti Utara Malaysia.

JETH is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
