General Study Areas
Most of the library premises were equipped with general sitting for study and group discussion.
They are located along the floor corridor or spaces and can be accommodate freely.
Learning Common
A special facility to accommodate users who wish to have a group discussion with the help of a TV screen or media equipment.
Mostly can cover 4-6 persons for each block and are free to be seated.
Personal Carrel
Located PSB New Building at Ground Floor and 2nd Floor, PSB New Building.
Cater for users who wish to have a quiet and personal study space environment.
Cozy Reading Areas
A set of soft couches to accommodate users who wish to have a relaxing easy reading or study; as well as taking a short nap after a stress academic session.
It also provide leather couches specially design for users who like to have a talk or discussion in group or meeting on the go and located at a strategic location in library premises.
Post Graduate Learning Commons
A special space designed to accommodate UUM post graduate students where they can have a personal study or research carrel, group discussion or network point.
Most of the study seats are available freely on first come first serve basis and located at the 1st Floor of PSB New Building.
Temporarily closed until further notice.
Academic Commons
A special space for all faculty members to have their personal academic session with their students or have a personal time in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
You might also want to have a group discussion among your colleagues or students, do some research, reading or maybe take a quick nap before your next lecture.
It is also equipped with drinking corner, personal network point and media equipment.
It is located at the 1st Floor, new PSB building and can accommodate about 50 persons at one time.
Smart Reading Room
Located at the low level of library foyer, outside PSB Main Building near Auditorium 1.
It can accommodate more than 150 users at one time and a popular study room for students during exam weeks, weekends, during public holidays or outside regular library opening hours.
Multipurpose Room
Located near the Main Library entrance and Locker room, it can facilitate for users who wish to study at odd hours and can be access 24 hours, every days.
Also a popular study room for students during exam weeks, weekends, during public holidays or outside regular library opening hours.
Carrel Room
A personal carrel room for those who wish to have a personal study space, quiet and without any disturbance.
This facility is available to all students.

Discussion Room
Facilitate to those who wish to have a personal group session in a room without disturbing other users.
It can be use within stipulated time, in group only and have to be book before use. To book the room, please approach One Stop Center Counter, PSB New Building.
Auditorium & Show Room
Auditorium 1
Can accommodate about 70-80 persons at one time and located outside the Main library building near the Smart Reading Room, ground library foyer.
Fully equipped with audio visual facilities.
Auditorium 2
A bit bigger compared to Auditorium 1 which can accommodate about 100-120 persons at one time and located at 3rd Floor, PSB New Building.
Also fully equipped with audio visual equipment and a foyer for any side activities such as group assembly, dining hall, performance etc.
Show Room 1
Located on 3rd Floor, PSB New Building, this spacious room can accommodate up to 70 people.
It is well-equipped with foldable chairs, projector screen and whiteboard, making it ideal for teaching and learning sessions.
Show Room 2
This room is located on 3rd Floor, PSB New Building.
Designed for creative and educational purposes, this room features a green screen, perfect for recording sessions to support learning and other needs.
It offers a comfortable and spacious environment for various activities.
Show Room 3
located on 3rd Floor, PSB New Building.
A comfortable space which can accommodate up to 15 individuals for small group activities.
It comes with a projector screen, making it suitable for presentations and screenings.

Auditorium & Show Room
Bookings for the Auditoriums and Show Rooms can be made through a reservation form, which is available at the Archive Media Office, 2nd Floor, New Building, PSB.

Library Foyer
Applications can be made by filling out the Foyer Reservation Form at the Administration & Human Resource Management Division office located on Level 3, Main Building. The application form must be submitted no later than 14 days before the program.
