What is UUM Resources?

  • UUM Resources is a curated collection of digital and physical materials that have been compiled, written, published, created, and preserved by UUM’s academic community, including academic staff and postgraduate students.

  • These resources reflect the intellectual output and scholarly contributions of UUM, supporting teaching, learning, and research activities.

UUM Postgraduate Theses Collection

  • This collection consists of postgraduate theses produced by UUM researchers.

  • It includes titles digitized from print holdings as well as items submitted electronically since 1986, covering a wide range of subjects taught at the university.

  • Access to Full Text
    Most full texts are available only by contacting the author or the responsible authority through the link provided in each item’s details, under the option “Request a Copy” (where applicable).

  • Printed Collection
    For theses in print format, materials can be accessed at the Special Collection, Level 3 (Floor 2), New Library Building.

UUM Institutional Repository

  • The UUM Institutional Repository is a digital archive that collects, preserves, and disseminates the scholarly works of the University community.

  • It showcases a wide range of materials, including articles, documents, conference papers, research reports, book chapters, and newspaper articles produced by UUM students and staff.

  • Access to Full Text
    Most full-text publications are available exclusively to UUM staff by logging in with a UUM email ID (as username) and staff number (as password).

  • For Other Users
    External users may request access by contacting the author or responsible authority via the “Request a Copy” link provided in the item’s details (where applicable).

Past Exam Papers Collection

  • The Past Exam Papers Collection provides access to UUM’s past examination papers, covering a wide range of subjects taught at the University.

  • The collection consists of titles digitized from print holdings received by the Library since 2008.

  • Access: Available exclusively to UUM patrons.

  • Format: Full-text exam papers in PDF format, accessible via the eResources platform.

  • Collection Size: Currently holds over 12,900 titles.

UUM eJournals

  • UUM eJournals is a collection of academic journals published by various faculties and schools of UUM.

  • The journals cover a wide range of subjects taught at the university and serve as a scholarly platform for UUM researchers to share their ideas, findings, and discoveries.

  • All journals are freely accessible and available for download.

University Archive

  • The University Archives preserve materials that document the history, development, and achievements of Universiti Utara Malaysia since its establishment in 1984.

  • These materials exist in various forms, including papers, documents, registers, printed works, books, maps, plans, drawings, photographs, microfilms, films, sound recordings, and electronic records—regardless of format or physical characteristics.

  • The collection also includes university gazettes, journal articles, research reports, photographs, conference and seminar papers, books, book chapters, news clippings, awards, medals, and more.

  • All UUM patrons are welcome to contribute materials of scholarly, historical, or biographical value, including correspondence records and event manuscripts, to enrich the archival collection.

UUM Management Museum

  • The UUM Management Museum is a specialized museum dedicated to the field of management studies.

  • It serves as a reference center for those seeking knowledge on past lessons in administration, notable public figures who have influenced the management field in Malaysia, selected exhibitions, and the history of Universiti Utara Malaysia itself.

  • Visitors are welcome to explore the museum during office hours individually, or arrange for a group educational tour for a more enriching experience.
