Artificial Intelligence in Language Education (AILE) is a peer-reviewed international open-access journal that focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and language education. The journal welcomes submissions addressing the theoretical, empirical, and practical dimensions of AI-driven advancements in language teaching, learning, and assessment. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, AI-enhanced language acquisition, natural and instructed language learning, automated feedback systems, AI applications in language testing and evaluation, adaptive learning platforms, virtual and augmented reality in language education, ethics and equity in AI-assisted learning, teacher professional development with AI, and learner analytics. The journal seeks to highlight innovations in leveraging AI for personalized learning, multilingual and multimodal language education, language learner motivation, and intercultural communication. It also explores the social, cognitive, and pedagogical implications of integrating AI technologies into educational contexts. By bringing together research from linguists, educators, AI experts, and technologists, Artificial Intelligence and Language Education aims to contribute to the ongoing transformation of language education and foster a global dialogue on the role of AI in shaping the future of language learning.
