Journal of International Studies (JIS) is a refereed journal published yearly (December) by Universiti Utara Malaysia. Its main objective is to provide a channel for the publication of articles based on research, original thought and commentaries in politics, international relations, international business and other related fields. This journal would not only benefit academicians and practitioners but also the general readers. The views expressed contained therein are those of the individual authors and not necessarily those of the editorial board or the University. Journal of International Studies (JIS) welcomes original contributions not previously published in any journal. The journal is being indexed and abstracted in Malaysian Citation Index (MyCite), ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) and Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)
